A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a missing teenager from Oxford.
Officers are treating the disappearance of Jayden Parkinson, 17, as murder. She was last seen on Tuesday 3 December.
Ben Blakeley, 22, of Christchurch Road, Reading, also faces a charge of perverting the course of justice.
He is accused of disposing of her body and lying to police about the last time he saw her. A 17-year-old boy remains in police custody.
Mr Blakeley appeared earlier at Oxford Magistrates' Court and was remanded in custody.
He is due to appear before Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday, when a judge is set to decide whether he should be granted bail.
The 17-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of murder after walking into an Oxfordshire police station last Friday.
Police have been given an extra 12 hours, until 17:00 GMT, to question him.
Earlier, police called on the public to "refrain from carrying out their own searches" for Jayden.
She was seen on CCTV at 16:07 GMT on 3 December boarding a train from Oxford railway station to Didcot Parkway.
The last reported sighting of her was at Didcot station later the same day.
Over the weekend, officers have been searching in and around the village of Upton.
