Wintry weather is causing disruption across parts of the UK, with warnings of severe gales forecast for England later.
Snow has blocked roads and led to several rail services being suspended in Scotland, while a tornado has struck homes in Pembrokeshire in Wales.
More than 200 schools are closed across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The Met Office has predicted gales of up to 75mph (120km/h) for England's southern and western coast later.
Yellow warnings to "be aware" are in place for ice, rain and wind across the UK.

BBC weather presenter John Hammond said: "Although the risk of snow is steadily diminishing, it's still snowing hard in parts of Scotland.
"Later we can expect to see storms spreading from the west, and it will be a period of very heavy rain across Scotland, Wales and the south-west."
Scotrail said services would be suspended on a number of West Coast routes from 12:00 on Wednesday until 18:00 on Thursday due to the stormy conditions being forecast.
No trains will run on the Inverness to Kyle Of Lochalsh line, or from Glasgow to Oban and Mallaig.
On Tuesday, engineers battled with extreme weather to reconnect homes in the north of Scotland which remained cut off over the weekend, after storms hit power to 140,000 properties last week.
Around 1,100 homes in Shetland are without power after their electricity supply was cut in the early hours. Energy company SSE says it hopes to restore power by lunchtime.
