Two men and a woman involved with the running of a former Nottingham care home have been charged with gross negligence manslaughter after the death of an 86-year-old woman.
Ivy Atkin died on 22 November 2012, shortly after being moved from Autumn Grange Care Home, in Sherwood Rise.
Sherwood Rise Ltd, the company that owned Autumn Grange, has been summonsed over a corporate manslaughter charge.
The home closed on 5 November 2012 when its council contract was suspended.
Residents were then moved to other homes.
Court summonsNaseen Kiani, 53, of Whirlow Grange Drive, Sheffield, Yousaf Khan, 46, of Nelson Road, Nottingham and Mohammed Rahamatullah Khan, 38, of Zulla Road, Nottingham face gross negligence manslaughter charges.
A female worker at the home, Safeena Bibi, 26, of Plantation Side, Nottingham, has been charged with Health and Safety at Work Act offences.
A Nottinghamshire Police spokeswoman said Mohammed Rahamatullah Khan was operational manager at the home and Naseen Kiani and Yousaf Khan were service providers.
They are due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on 14 April.
The company secretary of Sherwood Rise Ltd will also be summonsed to attend.
Five other people who were bailed in connection with the death have been released with without charge.
A police investigation was already under way prior to Ivy Atkin's death, after concerns were raised about standards of care at the home.
