A woman who has accused TV entertainer Rolf Harris of assaulting her while on holiday with his family showed "no hint of unhappiness" in a diary from the trip, a court has heard.
The witness, under cross-examination, was asked about diary entries from the holiday in December 1978.
She claims Mr Harris abused her during the holiday, but said she would not have mentioned it in her diary.
Mr Harris, 84, denies 12 charges of indecent assault.
The Australian entertainer and artist is accused of indecently assaulting four girls from 1968 to 1986, aged between seven or eight and 19.
The court has heard the witness - the alleged victim in seven of the 12 counts - was friends with Mr Harris's daughter Bindi and went on family with the Harris family in 1978.
Giving evidence, she has previously told Southwark Crown Court that she was scared of Mr Harris and that his actions were "creepy".
BeachSonia Woodley QC, defence counsel, asked her: "You were going across the world with a man you were scared of and who was creepy. Why on earth did you go?"
"Because I wanted to go with Bindi," she replied and added that she "thought that Rolf wouldn't be around too much".
The witness was asked about one of the allegations - that Mr Harris indecently assaulted her under her towel after they had been snorkelling.
Asked why she had made no reference to the incident with Mr Harris, she said: "The day was great up until he got the towel and fondled me."
She said Bindi and Mr Harris's wife, Alwen Hughes, were just a few feet away but would not have noticed she was upset because she "didn't show it".
The woman claimed the first time Mr Harris assaulted her was after she had just got out of the shower in her hotel bedroom during the same holiday.
She was asked about how Mr Harris had got into the room and Ms Woodley put it to her: "I suggest that nothing of that nature happened at all."
The witness replied: "Well it did."
She claims Mr Harris also indecently assaulted her after she had been sunbathing on a jetty one afternoon.
But Ms Woodley said that could not be correct because the sun had only shone on the jetty until 10am.
The trial continues.
